SIMAGIC Zeus Formula Steering Wheel β Compact Formula control, with a modular path to your preferred dashboard.
The SIMAGIC Zeus Formula Steering Wheel brings a compact 280 mm layout, extensive race controls and a rigid carbon-fibre construction to a dedicated PC racing cockpit. Designed for Formula, prototype and GT driving, it suits drivers who want to organise car adjustments around the wheel rather than reach for a keyboard. This listing is for the standalone Formula wheel: the MagicDash 4 display is an optional addition, allowing you to choose your dashboard arrangement separately.

Product details
Compact control for Formula and prototype racing
The 280 mm form places the controls around dedicated grips. It is well suited to cars where you make precise steering adjustments while keeping both hands in a consistent position. When selecting a wheel, consider the disciplines you drive most: a compact Formula shape and a full round rim serve different needs, particularly when large steering rotations are involved.
Build a control layout you can remember
With multiple buttons and encoder groups, the Formula can accommodate a detailed control scheme. Start by assigning the functions you use most often, such as pit limiter, radio and view controls. Then group related car adjustments together: brake balance, traction control and engine settings where your simulator supports them. A familiar layout is easier to use during a race than a large number of rarely used assignments.
Carbon-fibre structure and layered grips
SIMAGIC specifies a 5 mm solid carbon-fibre front plate and an aluminium back cover, with silicone contact surfaces on its three-layer grips. This gives the Formula a substantial structural foundation for direct drive use. Set your seating position and steering strength around a relaxed hold; you should be able to reach the main controls without repeatedly changing your grip.
Paddle operation and modular upgrades
The standard Hall-sensor paddle module provides dedicated shifting controls. Optional modules let you explore additional paddle functions or push-pull operation. Select the module around your actual driving needs, then check calibration and mapping in the software. Optional clutch functionality depends on the fitted module and should not be assumed from the standalone wheel listing.
Choose the display arrangement separately
The Formula is part of the modular Zeus platform. You can drive with your monitor's on-screen information, or add a MagicDash 4 later for wheel-mounted telemetry. Think about the information you need during a lap before adding a screen. A simple view of gear, shift point and fuel can be more useful than a crowded dashboard.
A wheelbase and wheel work as a complete system
The steering wheel supplies the grip, buttons and paddle controls; the wheelbase generates force feedback. Choose both around your preferred steering effort and cockpit support. A compact rim changes leverage at your hands compared with a larger wheel, so revisit the base's output settings when moving to the Formula.
Compatibility and software setup
The Zeus Formula integrates directly with compatible Alpha EVO wheelbases. Older Alpha, Alpha Mini, Alpha Ultimate and M10 installations require the appropriate MagLink Pro or MagLink Pro Xtend arrangement. Third-party base use depends on both mechanical quick-release fitment and the supported MagLink Pro connection; do not assume that attaching the wheel alone enables its buttons or electronics.
Use the current SIMAGIC SimPro Manager software for configuration and supported updates. Zeus firmware updates require a direct USB connection to the PC. Check buttons, encoders and paddles before entering the simulator, then assign the relevant functions in the game's controls menu.
MagicDash 4 is optional for this standalone wheel. If you add it, follow the required display and AirLink connection arrangement. SimHub support allows further dashboard and lighting customisation where supported. Available telemetry depends on the game, car and software configuration.
Recommended products for your Zeus Formula setup
Choose your Alpha EVO wheelbase
Select torque around the support of your cockpit and your preferred steering strength. Wheel diameter and the complete assembly influence the feel at your hands; start with a comfortable output after fitting a new wheel.
Complete the Formula setup
If you want the display package included, compare the Zeus Formula + MagicDash 4 Bundle. Alternatively, the MagicDash 4 listing lets you plan a separate dashboard upgrade. The SIMAGIC P1000 three-pedal set is a pedal option for completing the cockpit, especially if you also drive manual cars.
